Harrison kept the smirk to herself at the young woman's sigh. "Again thank you Mia for being so open and honest. I appreciate your candor. Chord and I would like for you to stay on with us and train. I think you have a lot to offer this organization and we would like to help you grow. We also would like for you to be in the running for the team lead if we decided to build a team in the future. You have shown that you have a solid head on your shoulders and that is exactly what we are looking for in a team lead. I know you expressed you're interested in being second. However, I think someone with your acumen should really consider the position of team lead. Would that being said, I would like to personally work with you to hone your skills for such a position. Is that something you would be interested in Mia?"

Mia shook her head at Harrison’s comment about the relationship between the four and everyone knowing, “No ma’am.? I was never told, and honestly, it is something that shouldn’t be known to other employees.? Shows favoritism, even if you are not trying to.”

After Harrison finished, Mia thought for a few moments about the offer before speaking.? “I only inquired about being second because there was already a first in place.? With that being said, I thought you all gave that position to Ireland this morning?? Granted I don’t think she wants it, personally, just from the way she didn’t react.”? She paused for a moment, wondering if she should ask if Ireland even had any powers, but decided against it.? “As for staying here and training, thank you, I am honored to be allowed to do so.? As for working with you to be a leader, yes, I would be honored to do that as well.? I look forward to our future endeavors, Ms. Harrison.”
