¡°Are you comfortable riding with me or do you prefer to ride alone.¡±

The redheaded vampire looked at Zuriel and shrugged. What was she doing, anyways? She didn't know this person. Their motives or their intentions toward her. In fact, this could just be some elaborate ruse by Tempest to trap her and this unusual being might be part of that plot.
But something about this creature...it evoked a sense of calm and trustworthiness. Scarlett almost could not say no to them.?
"I don't know you, but I feel like I do," she said, moving toward the car door. "I'm comfortable riding with you." She then slid into the car through the door and took a seat in the back of the car.
