Akira chuckled, "pheromones aren't something one can control. They just are. Glad to know that I don't stink."

Akira followed Gen to the fitting rooms. "I can come in with you and sit outside of the changing stall, that way you won't have to come out here to show me your outfit. There are benches inside. Come on." Akira led the way into the?male?side of the changing rooms and took a seat on one of the benches in front of one of the empty stalls. "See, you go in there, get something new on and come out here for me to see. Simple."

"Actually," Gen said, "the scientists who made me gave me the ability to control my pheromones. And even to modify them, at least to a degree.? So if I know what scents stimulate someone, I can at least try to produce them, at least in theory.? I've never really done that yet though."

Gen stepped into the changing room and undressed.? He studied himself for a moment in the mirror, wondering how he looked to the other boy.? Did Akira like him "that way"?? And if he did, how would he know?? He slipped on a pair of slim-fitting black jeans that hugged his hips, then donned a loose short-sleeved shirt with bright red and orange floral patterns, then stepped back out again.? "How's this look?" he asked, sounding hopeful, his eyes searching Akira's for approval.? ??
