(Colleen/Splice) ? "Well, this room's got an attached shower you could use," Splice said, continuing with her game.? "There is a girls' shower for other students, but they gave me my own shower for my room."? She scrunched up her nose beneath her goggles.? "Too much chance of me accidentally making skin-on-skin contact with someone in the common shower, y'know.? I mean, I do try to avoid it, but I can't always turn it off quick enough." ? "Hey, you wanna hit the dining room after your shower?" Splice asked.? "I'm starting to get some hunger pangs.? Happens if I get too into the game and forget to eat." ?

Sadie took a long shower, hoping maybe the hot water and soap would wash away not only the dirt and sweat, but the emotional pain she'd sustained since encountering Gray and his men. When she resolved herself finally that it would not, she got out of the shower, dried off and dressed in her last set of clothes in the now empty bag she'd brought along. Afterwards, she stepped out of the bathroom and found Splice where she'd left her. Tossing her dirty clothes in a basket provided under her bed, Sadie then turned to Splice and smiled. "Ready to hit the dining room?"
