(Colleen/Splice) ? Splice made a face at Del's departing back, then picked up her controls again.? "Mind if Ikeep playing?" she asked without waiting for a response.? "I'm good at multi-tasking.? It's not my mutant power, though." ? "So, Sadie, is it?? Is it short for something?? Do you have a street-name yet?"? Splice's hands were a buzz of activity with the controls as she stared intently into her goggles.? "What's your power?? Anything cool?? I'd love to have a roomie with something cool." The girl grinned apologetically beneath her goggles.? "It's okay if you don't though.? I'd show you mine but it'd weird you out.? For reals.? It's why I wear these granny-gloves.? Maybe later."? She nodded at the stack of cans.? "There's more in the mini-fridge in the corner.? Help yourself if you want one." ? ? (Sadie Logan)
Sadie opened the mini-fridge and snagged a power drink out. As she opened it and sat on the bed, she began to answer Splice. "My power is super-strength, rapid healing, high speed and dexterity. I can jump high, too," she counted off the things she could do. "There are people who think I'd make a good super-soldier.?I just...I just want to be left alone, have friends and live a normal life." She drank some of the beverage and realized she hadn't had anything to drink in hours...actually most of the day.? "Names just Sadie. Not short for anything," she responded. "I don't have a street name either. Sorry, nothing exciting here." She finished the energy drink and turned to Splice, "So, what is with the gloves and googles? What's your power?"
