"At some point you'll need to speak with Mia," Del said, stopping in front of a dorm-room door.? "She's the co-founder of the Academy.? But I don't think there'll be any problem there."
?
"For now though, let's get you situated with a room. And a roommate," she said, knocking on the door.? "Colleen? Do you have a moment?? I've got someone I want you to meet."
?
The door opened to reveal a red-haired teen girl with gamer-goggles, arm-length gloves and an impatient look on her face.?
?
(Colleen/Splice)
?
"Is it important?" Colleen asked.? "I've got the Dark-Side Armada on the ropes.? Three more ships and I level up!"? The girl glanced at Sadie who was standing just behind Del.? "Who's this?"
?
(Del)
?
Del looked apologetically to Sadie.? "She's not usually like this.? Just when she's playing Legends of Starcross.? Sadie, this is Colleen Delgata, aka Splice.? Splice, this is Sadie.? She'll be rooming with you while she's here." She smirked as she added "If that's okay with your Alliance."
?
(Colleen/Splice)
?
Splice sighed and extended a gloved hand to the older girl. The? lavender-colored glove ran all the way up to her elbow.? "Sorry. Nothing personal." She shrugged casually and smiled beneath her goggles. "I just get kind of intense when I'm gaming."
?
(Sadie Logan)
Sadie took her gloved hand and gave it a gentle squeeze and brief shake, "I completely understand. Sorry to bother you."
Releasing the girl's hand, she turned to Del and smiled faintly, "Thank you for your help tonight. I'll settle in here and maybe I'll see you tomorrow."
She then stepped into the room and determined the neatly made bed would be hers, as Splice's preferred bed was already a mess.
