Tori frowned at Colin¡¯s inference. ?It did sound like she was looking for a more than just a servant.?¡°Is mother looking for a slave¡to turn father?¡± Tori asked. ¡°Father¡¡± she asked a little more forcibly. ¡°Do not simply shrug, father. Mother doesn¡¯t do anything without discussing things with you. Is that what she wants? Another daughter?¡±
(Vincent/Colin) Vincent reached out a hand and took her daughters. "You know that you will always be our daughter and that she would never replace you. But, yes she is. We need a vampire daughter for a betrothal to another family. It was something that was done many, many moons ago. Before you were born. If it was something you could fill then we would ask you." He hoped that she would understand.
Colin wondered what his sister was thinking. He felt that she would be heart broken, but at the same time hoped she would understand as well. Apparently being a werewolf wasn't always a good thing.
