"Very well," the Dragon rumbled.? "No eating you... today."? He shifted under Mikayla's stroking hands, settling into a more comfortable position.? His scales seemed to relax and even grow warmer beneath her touch.
"Some," he said in answer to her query, his eyes remaining closed. "Though not as much.? It was excruciatingly painful at first, but I can feel some of the effects starting to diminish." His reptilian face shifted into a draconic frown.? "It wouldn't have happened at all if you'd kept reading though."
"But I am glad Angus was able to persuade you to return," the Dragon went on after a moment.? "I know you did not want to.? And for that, I am..." his features shifted as if at some discomfort before he finally muttered "...grateful."
"Can you sing?" he asked suddenly, opening one eye.? "You seem to have so many talents.? Is singing one of them?"

Mikayla smiled at his words. ¡°Thank you kind sir. I am most grateful for your stay of execution. And to show you the extent of my gratitude,¡± she said rubbing firmly behind his ear. ¡°I will continue.¡±
And she continued to run her hands over his body.
¡°Well Maybe now you have learned a valueable lesson about the importance of respect and honest. ¡° she said referring to his comment that she should have kept reading.?
She continued to rub and softly hum stopping her humming only when he spoke to her. ¡°Yes I can sing. I just never looked at it as a talent Before, ¡°she said with a shrug. ¡°It¡¯s just something I do from time to time. Do you...sing.¡±
