Hollywood knew that Eli was taking everything in, assessing and analyzing all she could of the area. Every vampire who wasn't a fledgling would. Eli would come to discover that there was little to no sound in the jail. The walls of the cells were cement, but mixed with stuff to muffle sound. Even a screaming vampire could not be heard much past the cell doors.

When Hollywood heard the cuffs unclick, she pulled her gun out and shot the dumb founded guard in the head, dropping him to the floor. She realized that Eli hadn't been searched before being placed in the cell. Hollywood sent a mental message to the rest of the group to clean the dead guard up. Then she went to the small barred window in the door. As she looked at Eli, she slid the door within the door closed and locked it herself. She didn't say a word at that point and simple turned and walked away from the cell. Two guards were left on either side of the cell door. They were armed with silver bullets. "Ari, you will come with me." She said and turned to indicate to him to walk in front of her to leave the jail. She had no intention of letting him speak to Eli as this point.

Eli heard the gun shot and shook her head. Foolish. But the maniacal bad guys always thought they had unlimited power and control over their people to the point where they could kill them in front of others and everything would still be right with the world. But that wasn’t her business.?

Ari was quiet at the display, but the command…the command bristles his feathers. “You do not command me Lina,” he said “let us not forget that I am here as Emissary to a very power Prince. One who respected you enough not to take your territory while you went to ground. And one I suggest you do not want to make war with. I want to speak to my sister. You owe us both that much after all, considering what you did.”
