Gen jumped slightly when the stranger suddenly appeared from out of the shadows.? He fidgeted self-consciously with the bottle still in his hand, then carefully laid it down behind himself on the sidewalk.? "It's kind of late to be knocking," he said, glancing up at the night sky above them. "Isn't it?"

The androgyne was distracted by the stranger's hair and eyes that seemed to change.? He was starting to wonder if she was a mutant, possibly the kind the Academy was meant for, but then the changing stopped just as suddenly as it had begun.??

"Me?" Gen said, still feeling more than a bit awkward after having been caught in the act.? "I... I'm nobody.? Nobody at all." He glanced around the empty street.? "M-maybe I should just go," he murmured.? "Sorry for... you know."
(NPC Liza) "Sir, you do not have to leave and if you are a mutant, you are welcome their no matter what time of day or night it is...or if you are simply lost and need someplace safe to sleep for a night. The owners are not picky. Since you were able to stick to the wall, then you have some sort of abilities. Do you need help? Are you lost? You are welcome there, no matter what your circumstance is." Liza explained hoping that he wouldn't simply leave without at least giving the place a chance.
