(Anais)Anais was lost in the pity party of her tears. She had become quite the crier lately. She knew tears were not going to solve her issue. Her tears weren't going to miraculously help her not be chained and kidnapped and held captive by strangers. No, her tears would not help with that, only her wits.? The funny thing was he expect her to be a "model prisoner. Was this man insane? How could she be a "model prisoner" when this man...Vincent had already told her his plan was to take her children from her the minute they were born.? He even threatened to kill her in a way that kept her body viable so he could harvest her children from her.? What kind of person said that...what kind of person expect full compliancy when the outcome was so dire?He wasn't a person, he was a monster...And she would not let that monster take her children anyway. She could not. She would do whatever it took to prevent that from happening.?Closing her eyes, Anais stood from the window seat, to lay back down on the bed. She was exhausted both physically and mentally. tired. And she was hungry considering she had not really eaten for that matter in a few days. Before she realized it her eyes closed and she did something she never would have done in awake. She reached out to him...the one person she both loved fully and hated desperately...She reach for Draven on the telepathic link they shared.

Once Vincent had arrived back home, Chantel told him about sending Aaylah in to attend to Anais and what was conveyed back. He glared at Chantel, "I told you to leave her alone till morning." Chantel dropped to her knees as if he had struck her, lowered her head and quietly said, "forgive me for overstepping." With a sigh Vincent turned to leave, "I am going to the city for a while. When I return, I want to find you in our bed and no one is to see the prisoner the rest of the night, is that clear." And as he left again a quiet, "yes, my lord," followed him out the doors of the mansion.?

Draven felt the tingling of someone trying to telepathically communicate with him, not knowing it was Anais, he put up a mental block to hide himself from who ever it was as he headed out into the night to find a way to attract the local Prince's attention.?
