(Callum)
Callum was taken completely off-guard by Arowyn's impulsive kiss. Time seemed to freeze in that moment. It had been months since Kirstene had last kissed him, months since he'd known the feel of another's warm lips on his own, of any kind of passion, however unintentional or benign. He felt himself melting, like spring breaking through winter's ice, and he drew Arowyn closer, his lips responding to hers, returning the warmth he was now feeling flow over him.
"Forgive me," he murmured, a spark of shameful conscience rising within him. He gazed into her eyes, and the spark was lost in a wave of emotion. "Forgive me," he said again, giving into his own passion, drawing the girl closer still, his mouth now devouring hers, the act of a man unable to hold back, his hands moving across Arowyn's rain-soaked bodice, desperate that she not leave with the passing storm.
- Arowyn -
Arowyn felt the briefest of shame when she heard Callum ask for forgiveness...What was she doing? This was her sister husband! She had no intention of doing this...kissing Callum, but when they survived the storm...his saving her life from the waves...she was just so relieved...so happy. That she...she...She should pull away. Stop this. One of them needed to stop this. But his lips on her felt so good. He was so warm...and strong...and handsome...she had always wanted him. Even sometimes dreamed this...No...what was she thinking...That was such a shameful thought...lusting after her sister husband...she was not this person. Kirstene was warm and caring and funny and the best sister a girl could have. She was was good to her...and Callum...that was before grief had taken her...No...she could not do this. She could not betray her sister this way. She needed to stop this. They needed to stop this.
But his lips felt so good...his hands felt so strong...his body against hers felt so...so..."Forgive me," she repeated his words just as soft as her fingers fumble with the laces of Callum pants.??
