(Flynn)
?
Flynn was helpless, really.? It was taking all of his
glamour to maintain the bubble of illusion that was keeping them from being
seen, if not by the approaching undead then at least by whatever enemy was commanding
them.? He hoped that moving east - or southeast as it was now - would get
them out of the undead horde's path in time, but he didn't want to put all of
their hopes on it.? Not with the stakes being what they were.
?
Within the dreaming world, he began to cast his gaze
downward.? First to the ground, then willing it further, into the ground,
into what lay beneath.? Normally he would use this trick to find water, or
sometimes to find something that had been buried.? This time though he was
having to look deeper, far below the surface, searching for layer of caprock.
If he could find caprock, then there was a chance that somewhere below that he
could find a cavern.? It was a longshot, he knew, even if he found
one.? But it was the best option he could think of.? The only thing
he could think of.? He continued his search as they moved, depending on
Callie to keep him in the saddle.??

[Sicilien]
?
When Etienne took charge, Sicilien grinned, hearing that same
fiery, headstrong attitude that she so oft displayed in front of him.? He
abruptly stood up, turning around as he backed up, raising his arms in an
"I give" gesture, palms out, though the toothy grin that graced his
face was no less smaller.
?
"Whoa, yes, ma'am!" he enthusiastically exclaimed,
laying on the sugar so thick you'd get diabetes from it.? "Ya'll
heard the lady.? Let's saddle up!"? He walked up to the horse
that he's previously ridden, taking it by the reins as he brought it back to
the group.? Irritating the shit out of Etienne aside, a determined,
serious look did come upon him as he checked the beats over, tightening all the
straps, buckling all of the bags.? He really didn't have much, and
anything that he could not afford to lose would be on his person already.?
His two revolvers, Amano and Yuki, and the sniper rifle slung across his back.
?
"Alright, taking point," he announced as he maneuvered
the horse to the front, turning it so that he could look upon the others,
waiting for them to fall in line.? The stench indeed was becoming
unbearable.? Though his nose was not quite as sensitive as his beastly
friend, one didn't have to be animalistic to feel it start to overwhelm
you.? He just hoped that once they headed towards the mountains, that
there would a cave or some kind of an outcropping with a roof over their hands
so that they can at least take shelter there.
?
"Let's start of with a trot and increase the speed from
there as needed.? Callie, I'll rely on you to tell me if we can go faster
or if we need to slow down, since you're Flynn's pointwoman.? Okay??
Ready when you lot are."

{Charity}
?
When the first of the undead shambled into Millers Crossing
Charity was perplexed. Not only were they undamaged by battle, meaning that
they had not met the Five along the road, but they were not driving the party
before them either. She smiled then.
?
"Clever," she muttered, casting her senses across the
landscape on the wings of bats and the paws of other nocturnal predators.
"Where have you gone? Are we still shielding ourselves from sight? My bats
do not use it, my coyotes and wolves use their noses better." She began
dancing again, calling to her fauna minions.?
?
The coyotes replied first, howling among themselves as they
circled the area where the Five had last been discovered. The scents of the
undead covered any faint trace of the party's leaving. Wolves circled further
out, far from the road both to the north and south. The bats fluttered about,
but the clouds of insects had been drawn to the recent buffet of undead flesh
that was still passing along the road.
Finally a single mountain lion picked up the scent. Alone, at
Charity's command, it followed the scent trail southeast into the mountains.
"Follow and watch," Charity sang to it as she danced, "tell the
ravens where they are come the dawn, and then rest."
A cruel smile waxed across the wendigo's face as she added,
"I shall have a special task for you when once again night shall
fall."
?
Having set the scene Charity turned her attention to the
arriving undead. It wouldn't do to have her new subjects messing up her nice
little town, they needed new flesh on their bare bones. One by one she danced
them into the kiva.

?(Chase)
He moved with some focus determination.?
It wasn¡¯t that he wanted to live so much as he didn¡¯t want to see others
die because he did nothing.? It wasn¡¯t
difficult to move Flynn the man was light in his oversized hands.? His strength had been leaking over from his
other side for some time making him more dangerous in either form, but even he
couldn¡¯t defeat a small army of undead without being effected a little
bit.? But he couldn¡¯t take a chance on
one of the others getting injured by his bravado or death wish which ever you
wanted to call it.
¡°Tie the bandanda over your mouth to stave off some of the stench.¡±? He said seeing the retching look on Callie¡¯s
face.? She didn¡¯t look too good actually.? But that was no problem for right now she
would feel better once they got to higher ground.
He looked at the giddiness his new traveling companion as he looked at the
woman that had once been his.? The smile
of recognition even more apparent.? He
could be happy for him, the chance to have his love back.? He was lucky.?
He would hold on to Flynn as much as his woman would allow him too.? It was far easier at this point to help out
and keep moving, this band would truly make this trek memorable if they
survived.? He was the other lookout or he
would try to be with his own animalistic senses he did his best to stave off
the coming headache that threatened to take him out from the stench around them
his only hope was to make it to high ground.
(New Callie Carson) ?? Callie reluctantly let go of Flynn. The men were better suited to lug him around. She was tough and strong, but she had her limits. The stench was almost unbearable. These undead were rotting terribly, she surmised from the smell, likely an intentional side-effect of the magic that had reanimated them, along with the natural decomposition caused by the hot sun. ?? She did as Sicilien suggested and ties her bandana around her face, covering her nose and mouth in hopes of keeping the odor away. It was a noble effort, but she could still smell the dead around them. ?? The redhead moved her horse into position and lashed it to the others, then looked to Etienne who, from out of nowhere, had basically taken over directing the group. She seemed to have a solid idea, so Callie was not inclined to do otherwise. She then waited to see where they would go next. Tag -
