(Prince Dario)

The Prince regarded these two in his court.? One was a vampire, and one he had never liked, the other a water mage.? He held up a hand to Luke, “before I release you.? You say you no information on this new development, but what do you know about it?? And you still didn’t answer my question in regards to the werewolves.”

“And I don’t know if the DEA or the FBI would me much help with a supernatural problem.? We must work together to flush out this new threat and well, from my experience, they have only ever been able to get themselves killed in these kinds of situations, being human and all.” He said with a smile at Luke, “might want to do better in guarding your mind in here, mage.”

? Scarlett cringed when Luke effectively freaked out. It was not good to act in such a way when in the court of a vampire elder. She focused on Dario and added to her account, "I followed the intruders from a meeting they had with the yakuza earlier this evening to an estate in Raconteur. I believe their leadership may be there. I have only viewed it from afar."

? ?She glanced over at Luke, "You should sit and listen, Mr. Reardon. Prince Dario is correct. This threat will require the combined efforts of all of us to defeat."

Luke shifted uneasily from one foot to the other but never let his eyes wander from the Prince.

I have friends in the Werewolf community. Other than that I can’t speak for them. I will impart what I have learned from Scarlett. Perhaps they could be of great assistance in this matter. We help each other from time to time. As I know you are aware they stick to the backwaters and rarely come into town.?

He looked down at his attire then over at Scarlett. “I do have some finer clothes but my home is in New Orleans. I didn’t want to waste the time driving.? I was anxious to learn what I could.”

He turned his gaze back on the Prince. “I have known about the criminal presence here in southern Louisiana. I’ve avoided making trouble. But then they weren’t killing our people. Apparently this new outfit likes to dominate it’s base of operations. If that is what they are up to. I presume they want to bring product in. I would be more than willing to cooperate in their untimely demise. Whatever I can do.”

Luke waved a hand at Scarlett. “Perhaps Scarlett can coordinate communications between us. Help us combine our strength when the time comes. I can involve the Werewolves when needed. They can be a respectable asset.”

He paused, a grimace on his face. “They really don’t like you guys but I think I can convince them that defeating this new enemy is of greater importance than petty discord.”

He took a step forward. “Nothing will approach our shores without my knowledge. I will keep a close watch on our approaches and call out if any of these new forces come calling.”

He half bowed, “Will that be adequate for your highness?”
