Brandon was in his room.? He re-thought the whole packing thing.? Everyone was coming down on him, even Ireland who he loved more than anything...so her words hurt far more than anyone else's.? When she told him what she did...he was far more devastated, her words hurt far more.? So he was stuck in the flux of packing and just leaving everyone to their own devices, or staying and got back to solo training.? Seems he finally got a girlfriend...and lost everyone else.? That made him feel like he was less than spit on burning asphalt.? He could truly leave with what, funds he had and be comfortable.? He didn't have to play the game, someone else could step up and fill the void of protecting the city.??

The problem was...if he didn't do the superhero thing he would do what...flip burgers, magician?? Sure everything wasn't his fault but it was!? If he was supposed to be the leader at the time it was his responsibility?to lead them right.? Well when he did....but not any more it was Ireland's team she could do what she wanted....nope they weren't together anymore.? Everyone said it wasn't his fault...but if he didn't lead well...why wasn't it?!?? He did take it seriously, the exercise but he was no different he had his own psych issues and he thought he had over come them during the exercise...but it wasn't enough. He couldn't force them together, yell at them to motivate them, he didn't know them.

When the last exercise came and they were facing the bots that he had fought, he barely beat one solo much less four with the untrained...was that his problem?? Sometimes he saw the odds and just gave up...when he was by himself he would have simply kept going by sheer will...but when he had to protect others...he thought more to keep them safe rather than hurt them even accidentally.? He had been in the game for a while and he was a solo act a pretty good one.? He wasn't team lead material honestly.? That is why Ireland or even Mia would be chosen over him.? He shrugged it off as if he didn't care, but the demotion in front of the others affected him...how could it not!? If his family couldn't see that, then they didn't know him at all.? Then after that expect him to step up...seriously?!?

When the knock came he looked up.? "Come in."? He was both happy and sad to see Kat and she didn't have her bags.? 'Can we talk?!?'? When had that ever started a good conversation?? ? "Sure what's up?"? ?'Wants to break up with him already?? Would definitely be par for the course for sure.'
