Scarlett remained silent, as did the guards, as they escorted her down the elevator into the sub-level of the building. When the lift stopped, the doors slid open and Scarlett stepped out into the lobby, her eyes, ears and sense of smell all tuned in to detect anything out of the ordinary. She confirmed the presence of a girl by her scent a moment before she stepped out the doors, confirming once she saw her that she was indeed a vampire as well.
The redhead, dressed in a black leather bodysuit and longcoat, stood there and looked around, her eyes then training on Kitty. "You must be the welcoming party?"

Kitty was sitting on the arm of the couch when Scarlett came into the lobby, "Well, I suppose. I am Kitty, and you must be the infamous Scarlett MacAleister. Prince Dario has been expecting you. Was he the Prince when last you were here?"
Luke felt the elevator activate as the soles of his boat shoes felt lightly. Then his gut gave him that little queasy feeling as he descended. It didn¡¯t last long as the elevator came to a stop. The light above the door went green and on the panel to the side pinged LL.?
The door slowly opened and he stepped through into a wide but short antechamber. He recognized the redhead from Eddie¡¯s BBQ. The shorter vampire he did not. They seemed to come in all sizes apparently.
¡°Luke Reardon at your service,¡± he said with gentle sarcasm.
