Khadashee thought on all that Draven had said. Was it possible that someone was trying to hurt her? Was it possible that her babies were just caught in the cross fire? But why would anyone want to hurt her? Bakari and she had been in love since they were children. She was destined to be his and her his. Their wedding day was the happiest day of her life...second on to the day she learned she was pregnant the first time. Who would want to hurt that love? Why?
"I do not know. Everyone in the Palace was always so nice to me. I had been coming to visit Bakari and his family since I was a child and he and his family had been coming to visit my family. Why would anyone want to hurt me? Ethiopia was like a second home to me."
(Draven) Draven didn't respond, he just stood and let her think out loud.? The ship came about and the wind filled the sails.? It wasn't long before they were moving fast across the water, back on the course they were previously on.
He pulled out his spy glass after they had been sailing for an hour and knew they had crossed the earlier horizon.? With a smile, he looked at Khadashee, "we have caught up with Sa'id.? Look, there." He handed her the spy glass and pointed to where the other ship's sails could be seen.? He was glad they were able to find the man and hoped that he would understand what Draven was trying to do earlier.
