Richard Bean 1787?? - 1850
Born Wetherby or possibly Kirkby Wharfe
Enlisted in Capt Giles Company at Carlisle?1st Battalion HM 53rd Regiment of Foot Feb in 1804. Sent to India where he stayed for the rest of his life and 4 subsequent generations
in British India.
Through Ancestry.com his father may have been Alexander Bean and mother may have been Sarah Sykes both of Ulleskelf but as yet not proven.
