some of my groups have migrated. Good or bad, it's no longer yahoo...which by definition is GOOD!

Folks, "OK" doesn't cut it.

The next step must be done by someone:

Step 2

Send an invite from your Yahoo Group to [email protected]

I can't do it. Only the group owners, or moderators, can do it.
  1. If someone will make me a moderator, I can continue.
  2. If an existing moderator doesn't trust me, and wants to do it, great. The migration will take place.
BUT... right now, we're at a standstill.

If there aren't any moderators or owners who are available anymore, then a "migration" can't take place. The new group exists (in fact, someone already joined, which I've heard could cause problems), but I've locked its membership until I'm clear what's going on.

If there are no mods or owners available, we could just accept that there will not be a transfer of messages, and simply move over to the . The yahoogroups will continue to exist for the time-being; we could leave a message once in a while saying it's not active or something.

But... that's somewhat of a permanent decision. I would prefer the history to get migrated over properly.

SO... once again:

Is there an owner or moderator available? Contact me privately (not on the list) at:
