Hello QY group! A long time ago, I recorded some real-time 'jamming' on a Rm1x into a QY100. Basically, I had a style (in Pattern Mode) ready on the Rm1x, and connected the MIDI out from the Rm1x into the MIDI in on the QY100 ... And then I recorded the MIDI output of the Rm1x into the QY100 while using the real-time controls on the Rm1x ... So I was essentially using the QY100 like a Roland MC-50 or Alesis MMT-8 to simply record what was happening on the Rm1x. I recorded a handful of performances like this, until such point as I finished one of these 'songs' and noticed that the QY100 had stopped recording and was showing a message saying that it was full. And now I'm ready to (finally) revisit these performances and see what I actually have. I figure the most logical (and easiest) option will be to import these files into the Rm1x ... But I'm curious about how this would be done. I've been having a look online and at the QY100 manual, and it looks like I'd want to use the 'Save' function and save as a SMF to a memory card. Alternately, it appears I could use the 'Bulk Dump' function and import to my computer ... So first I'd be curious if anyone has advice on which of these options will be best in this case. And then after that, I'm not sure how I would get this data back into the Rm1x. Although I do have a USB 2.5" floppy drive that I can connect to an old MacBook Pro ... But before going further, I'm hoping someone on this list has done a similar thing and can provide some insight. Since I've only really used the QY for this purpose, any advice will be appreciated! Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent long lasting replacement power supply for QY100. I bought one not that long ago on Ebay from Effects pedal pwoer Supplies and it's already failing intermittently - cheap cabling I expect. Any suggestions? - thanks Mark

Kind of a weird one - The chord track (Cd) does not seem to be controlling the chord progression in a song. There are only a few chords showing in the track, and yet the song indicates and follows many different changes. Neither is the chord template set to any of the system templates (its set to 'usr') Apart from something wrong with the data / loading of the song, trying to think if there is any other place that could be defining what's happening with the chord progression... Interestingly, if I delete the Cd track it clears the progression. So there's definitely some linking going on between the Cd track and the progression. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks!

Occasionally ill copy a pattern from a preset to an unused track of a different kind, in order to make it editable. Similarly, occasionally, i find that transposition has no effect on the new user pattern. It will render transposition in the edit view (i.e. I can see that it has transposed) but playback of that track within the user style is unaffected. Any experience with this or knowledge as to what might be happening? This is on the QY100. Cheers!

Have two generic ones - IndMem and i believe this PNY card reader. The IndMem literally feels like its going to break the card and it only goes in part of the way. Can't use that one without having a heart attack. Neither are performing well on my Mac. Nothing shows up as being mounted, doesn't seem to recognize the data. Any suggestions for something reliable? I've got the data backed up on my card, now i just need to back up the card!! ahhhhhh. Thanks!
