I have a QY70, and a TIE Midi-to-USB adapter cable. I manage to transfer files between my (old) desktop computer with WinXP using the QY data filer. However, when I try to connect the QY70 to a virtual WinXP installation,? it says "Now confirming the connection", but then I get the message "The list cannot be properly received", and if I click again o the "Ctrl"-button in the Data Filer program,? it says "Data transfer failed. Confirm QY70 connections(HOST SELECT switch, etc.)." If I push a key on the QY70, the "Now Bulk Mode"-Window shows up.
So it might have to do something with the WinXP-Installation or -Configuration in the virtual environment (I am using QEMU/KVM on a Debian/based Linux laptop). I found other people had similar problems back in the days with WinXP (non virtual, I suppose), but no definitive solution was given in the corresponding posts, e.g.
Maybe someone here has an idea how to overcome this? At a certain point, the desktop computer with WinXP may die, and then being able to use the QY70 with the virtual WinXP would be the ony way to transfer files.
