Sounds like some midi routing issues are going on. ?
A midi controller connected to the Computer should be able to control the QY connected to same computer ?via a 5-din midi/usb with proper setting and routing, but unfortunately I am not a DAW guy at all.?

I would also check out some youtube QY 70/100 Videos by user JayB and also his QY info on his website… he uses a DAW and the QY (if memory serves).
