I have a qy300 and i'm hoping the process will be very similar to the qy700. 1) select the track you want (usually and by default the track number is the same as the midi channel number) 2) press the edit button - on the qy300 this is next to the job button and you'll now see the note and bar information in the screen 3) scroll down to where you want to insert? 4) press the insert button (on the qy300 this is just above the F2 button) 5) select the exact time/bar/tick you want 6) use the down arrow to select 'note' and then press yes/no to scroll to PC 7) use the right arrow button to select the program number you want 8) press the enter key 9) this will now take you back to the edit screen and you should see the program number now present where you inserted it. 10) this program change will now be sent down the midi cable to your?gear every time your song plays and passes this point.
how you program your gear top accept this info is down to you and your gear.
i'm using a QY700, but i imagine the processes are related. i cannot find this information in the manual, and am having to manually set the patches in the synth for each song.
