I don’t think i’s going to give you new features, it was just an alternative to copying the data to the card and then backing up thecard on the pc.

The only other feature is on the QY100 device - in the file menu you can export data as an SMF (Simple Midi File) to the card. ?As far as I know there was never a utility to convert .Q1S files directly to MIDI tracks via software.

Of course, there may be a device out there that can be connected to the MIDI-OUT port that will record and create a .midi file from the raw midi data, but if there is I have never used it.

Hopefully someone else can chime in with abetter option that exporting an SMF, since I believe there are some limitations to it’s usefulness. ?Generally I just do backups and restores with the card, keeping everything in .Q1S files.?
