I am far from an electrical engineer, but if I were to venture a guess then I would say Roland/boss might be incorporating a dual transformer noise reduction circuit.... ? or some other type of ground loop suppression circuit... but that is just a total guess... I think I have one around here somewhere and I would love to open it and take a look… But I hate to break the plastic welding... it kind of ruins it’s value. ?
