That was worth a try... never give up looking for an LCD replacement!
To sum up:
- Original LCD is a DMF50202N (once upon a time existed the DMF50202NY-LY, the LED backlit equivalent...)

LCD controller CPU is a T6963C (XL166A00) and this is the crucial bit.
The mouser search engine pulled out this one, slightly bigger (can fit, I'm worried for the 11 mm thickness)
But look at the price... 135 €!!!
Edit: the data sheet says that this is T6963C compatible... but it costs like buying another QY!!
