Hi Raj, it won't be the battery I think or you'd have lost all your patches.

Try headphones first than maybe check a patch to make sure the operators aren't set to 0 output.

Brian.

Hello Raj,?

then the issue is NOT(!) the patches lost. And quite likely it is not the battery.

Since you seem to be from Mauritius my first suspicion is based on the the sea climate: corroded jacks and/or a corroded volume slider.

Kind regards
Florian

Before you start cleaning, check with an oscilloscope or an audio probe, whether there is sound at the input of the volume potentiometer.

A few days ago I wanted to lower the temperature of the rectifier but it was too hot for me to touch it, so I thought I could put a cooling fan on the vacant C6 socket, as I don't know the voltage very well the fan spun quite fast causing me to be a bit scared, after 1 second it stopped spinning, when I connected the fan again the fan stopped responding ........ Finally, I noticed that the relay no longer sounded when I turned it on and the buttons were silent. I thought the relay had burned out, so I violently removed the cover of the relay with pliers, but then I suddenly realized that the two 0.75A fuses on the DC power board had blown. I replaced the fuses and everything was back to normal. Now my relay has no cover and the cover is damaged. You can check the fuses.

No it's not the battery. The battery is only there to be able to save sounds.

It can be alot of things. Faulty outputs etc. Have you tried the headphone output?

My yamaha tx7 has a small amount of leakage from all devices when I turn it on and when I turn the tx7 off, the leakage goes away. What is causing this and can any experts explain? (There is nothing unusual about the tx7, the only problem is just a little leakage) I have no problems with my home circuits.

Hello

What do you mean with "Leakage from all devices"? Some noise or some physical fluid?

btw: If English is not your native language, then write your question in detail in your own language and have it translated into English by deepl.com

Sorry sir,English is really not my native language.?

When I turn on the power switch on the 1080, I can feel a slight electric sensation when I go to touch the 1080 and other devices. I can confirm that the problem is caused by my jv1080, but I don't know what causes it!

Hello Valeri,

most of us are not native english speakers assumingly, so no problem with that.

Does it happen also, when you have nothing connected to the TX7 (no audio, no MIDI)?

If yes, then this is most likely an issue with your electrical mains installation, and not an issue of the TX7 oder other gear.
If it happens only when the TX7 is connected to other gear (either by an audio cable or a MIDI cable), then the security issue quite likely is at the other gear.

This might be a real life endangering thing. So be very careful!

Florian
