i've looked at the archive, but didn't find an answer.
Does anyone knows a Windows app that allows graphicall editing of
this beast??
Also, does the 6 op really different in terms of sounds from, say, a
tx80z, wich is 4op, if understand well?

4 op are still FM synths, so they have a similar sound and sound quality. But, the 6-op synths
generally sound a fair bit better, have a lot more diversity in the kinds of sounds they can
make, and can sound a lot cleaner. 4op sounds are often "dirtier" or "grungier"--good in some
situations, not in most. 6 op synths can also sound dirty, but they also can sound a lot more
pristine.

Note--you don't have to use all 6 operators on a 6-op FM synth. So, you can theoretically
recreate most 4-op sounds on a 6-op synth--with some know how and tinkering.
