Hello, Just bought an used DX7 and my question is about how to hook it up in logic pro x to record. Can you use a Midi to usb cable? Or do i just use the midi conections and the audio out in to my interface? Dora
You can't connect midi to audio they are totally different things (the first is digital communication, the second is analog audio).
A USB Midi interface is your best bet.

The audio must be recorded via your audio-interface. To sequence
the notes, which the DX shall play you need a MIDI-interface for
your computer. I definitely advise against a "USB to MIDI cable",
those usually do not work reliable. Get a proper standalone MIDI /
USB interface.
