Greetings; Unfortunately SoundDiver is not cheap...upwards of $150 depending on where you buy it. (There are OEM versions w/ many newer synths, but they only work w/ that synth; an upgrade has to be purchased for unlimited use).
Since my posting to the Egroup yesterday, I finally managed to get a shareware FB-01 patch editor working, it's called FM-Edit.
It's old, and only works in DOS -- not from a DOS window, but actual DOS. Also, the envelope for each operator is in strict numeric form (ie. not graphic like SoundDiver or Midiquest), but once you get past that limitation it's not too bad. It also comes w/ a number of utilities, like a ROM voice fctory reset program, etc.
I found it via a Google search on FB01, but for the life of me I can't recall the URL...the program is only 300kb, however, so if you want to try it, I could send it to you as an Email attachment.
Regards
Glenn
