If you have an original DX7, caartridges for the DX7II or DX7s wont
work. I believe you might need an adapter to make an original DX7
cartridge work in a DX7II.
I'm using a DX7 Mk1, and I'm pretty certain the carts are original
DX7 ones, as the guy I got it from had it from new, and still had the
patch list that came with the carts. I'm able to select cartridge
memory, but when I select a patch it gives me that 'FORMAT CONFLICT!'
message. I've heard some early carts had batteries; could that be
the problem?

I tried every patch to no avail. I've got the Amp mod working (it's
just called 'amplitude' on the DX) but still no EG bias. Maybe I
should have it looked at.
Who can help!?!
