Lately, ?I’ve noticed two of the TF-1 modules that don’t power up the same way everyone else does.? Nor do they have that reassuring click of the relay.
BUT, when you hit the function button up front, they join right in with the same display.
Is this a relay thing?? or one of the aging electrolytics nearby?
Because unlike other synths, this thing is really hard to service on the bench, being detached from its host power and all.? That, and schematics seem impossible to find.
I’m secretly considering selling it, too.? But that comes and goes.? I hate to break up the ensemble of indulgent spending.
