There are transformer-based adapters sold in travel stores, and on
eBay.? According to the service manual, the Japan version uses 30W.?
As long as the one you get is sized for *at least* the wattage of
the DX, you should be OK.
I see about a dozen of these transformers on eBay right now, for
$20-50USD.? Not surprisingly, many are being sold by Japanese
sellers.? The Kashimura TI-101 looks like a decent match:? 110-130V
in, 100V out, 35W max.? The Yazawa HTD130V100W also looks good:?
110-130V in, 100V out, 100W.
