If nobody is planning to convert those patches (and there are a LOT
of them), I will do it later tonight...
So, if you are lazy :) just sit and wait...
?
Nevertheless, if somebody is half-way finished with
conversion,?he/she can?send a message to the group, and spare my/our
free time :)

Subject: [YamahaDX] Please
help with mystery "Michael Jackson" DX7 files (No File
Extension)
?
Hello :)
About 10 years ago a friend picked up a DX7 and the
gentlemen who sold it also threw in a disc of files that were used in Michael
Jackson's Thriller album as well as MJ's Bad Tour. The problem we have, now
ten years removed, is i'm not sure what format these files are.
Could
someone here please take a look at them to see what type of file extension or
what work we need to do to be able to use them? Ideally we'd like to convert
them into sysex so they can be imported into Native Instruments
FM8.
Any light you can shed on this would be greatly
appreciated.
I've uploaded the files in a .ZIP archive here
