While the Motif Rack XS is a Yamaha, it's not a DX.

I have the motif XS RACK module.
I have tried (over 20+ hours so far) to get the computer to communicate with the module.
I have used the cubase seq prgm that comes with the module, got the motif editor to see the module, but I can't get the editor to send some KEYFAX sounds to the module.
This, to say the least, has been an incredibly frustrating time working with this whole thing.
I have tried to update the OS of the RACK, but again, the computer will NOT communicate with the module.
Cubase even has problems seeing the midi file for updating the Motif XS OS.
Can anyone help me, please?!
