Subject: [YaesuTuner] Looking for Yeasu tun/lin TTL protocol

?

Hey guys, here is some history to help understand my need;

in the ft8X7 and ft100 radios Yaesu was offering a mini din 8 pin connector that had 3 functions, CAT TTL, TUNER, LINEAR, through simple config in the radio, this is actually back in FT710 that brought back CAT3 via TUN/LIN minidin8 connector.

between the these two groups of radios they dropped the CAT TTL function of the TUN/LIN mini din connector for a separate RS232 connector, ?part of that minidin8 TUN/LIN connector dual usage is a simple TTL connection using the same pin out as the CAT TTL as for the ft8X7 connector.

I am looking for the commonly used TTL ?communication protocol to control the linear via the TUN/LIN minidin8 connector.

let me be clear I am NOT looking for the Yeasu CAT protocol, I don’t think (could be wrong?) they use there CAT COMMANDS for this?

let me know.

specific info on the link specification (speed, etc…) would also help me.
