Friends,
I did it! I bought a set of connectores Din 8 Mini male
and female, 15m / ~50 feet 8-wire and soldered the extension cable myself. Now
tested with the original cable plus the extension....and it works perfect. So a
distance of 20 m / ~ 60 feet between FC40 and FT 897 is
possible.
