Do a reset on radio first before finding a fault that may not exist. VFO knob is removed by turning radio upside down, look at shuffle jog, there is a slot in it. Use small Allen Key, about 1.5mm or 2mm and there is grubscrew in main knob.

Hi I think they are pull off, however, check there are no small screw holes.
Check the RX IF circuit for the AGC line I do not have a circuit with me, but I will be at home in 7 days

The issue is low signal on the s meter as shown on the previous pics. The last pic is only to show that all the numbers of the s meter are ok.
