Re: FT847 160 and 80 MHz

Hi Andy,

I haven’t done a reset yet, but I wanted to do a partial reset, but I’m not sure how to do that just yet as I want to keep the memories I have just put in manually. Thanks for your advice.

I did wonder if maybe if this was a Japanese or an American import and that’s why it didn’t transmit and went out of band error. that was my thoughts!!! Good shout on the TX out of band, but I did check every single setting and could not find anything associated with anything like that. But you never know?

Hi Jeff,?
normally shows error when trying to tx out of band as you say.?
Have you done a reset, that quite often cures things.?
Power off, FAST and LOCK? held in, power on. See if that cures it.
It may be set for duplex to an out of band tx frequency.

I’m not sure about the question you are asking me I have put this frequency in the title and in the message 160 m and?80 m. The error appears across the screen as if it was out of band as it would, if you were trying to transmit out of band. Whereas 160 m and 80 m are not out of band. This only happens if I were to try and TX.?
