Verified better and I confirm, no LCD illness but a black gasket!
It is probably caused by the seal surround of the display moving due to heat.

Strange situation om my 847 . I've a black semicircle band over the satellite write over the display, mybe is not a defective display, or at least seems. Seeing through the glass with a lamp and a lens I was able to see that the satellite tacking sign is still present.
