Hi. Try to run the radio full power only with a dummy load, and measure the??voltage supply in Tx and Rx Modes.? Make sure the voltages?are within?specs. The 847 has an over voltage protection.? Check your power supply connections.? Loose connection are OK during
receive, but during transmit, you will be a voltage drop resulting in all
kinds of bad things happening including relay chatter.

Closest I've had was the in-line fuse overheating, corroding and making poor
contact. Mine were the cartridge fuses, not the spade terminal ones which
are a lot better.
