Re: FL-7000 Interface with a FT-847

?Hi,
? ? Justin a quick question? What are your expectations? Band change? Or just TX and ALC?

? I have both but there is no band change data from an FT847 but you do have standby for PTT. You cannot hook up the FT847’s PTT socket to the FL7000 without safely using a buffer. You just need a cheap optoisolated relay with short to ground. That goes to the STBY socket of the FT847 and the buffered side to the FL7000. The ALC “from memory” is -9vdc but might be wrong. I use mine straight though but let me double check that the -9vdc is in the range for the FT847 as I also have the VL1000 and that again has no option for band change other than use the F button in sequence and let the radio auto sense band from the signal.

? Other radios like the FT840 I have the band data but not the FT847.

Hi Guy's n Gals.?

I recently purchased a FL-7000 & was wanting to interface it with my FT-847.?

Was wanting to know if anyone has interfaced their FT-847 with a FL-7000 & could let me know the pin-outs for a interface cable, or where I may be able to get one from.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
