Hello Everyone, Happy new year ? I'm trying to achieve something that I'm not sure if possible, so I will do the best I can do describe it. I own both Yaesu FT-818nd and SCU-17 (TNC) that I mostly use for digital modes, in specific js8call. Recently, I managed to use a Linux box (Alsa sound driver -> Pipewire sound server -> Helvun + EasyEffects) as DSP, allowing me to receive clean audio. When the SCU-17 is connected to PC, a dedicated ft-818 microphone and speaker are made available to Linux/Windows OS. On the PC, I have flrig that allows me to trigger the PTT via software - it works. I'm now trying to use the PC microphone, through SCU-17 to transmit voice audio. Is this possible? I have a usb connector with 3 prong cable at one end for cw. Been a while since I used the 817. It the menus of the 817 is there a way to by pass auto keyer? Or just use the cable as is and use the internal setup for speed , weigh, vox etc. Thanks -- 73's de NU4N Dave

Yea, it's been quiet for a while .... I guess most are doing summer stuff ... like to too I need to get back to my 100w all band amp project ... Probably after the snow flies *sigh*
