Yaesu-ft710-testing [email protected]
The impetus to form this new group arises from the fact that the FT-710 is Yaesu's first direct RF sampling SDR transceiver.
This group’s mission will be to gather test data obtained by interested test engineers into one place. The objective will be to compare test methods and results and exchange information about the FT-710’s architecture, feature set and functionality. Comparison with other makes from these perspectives will be welcome.
We do not envision yet another group filled with endless accounts of struggles with ham radio software. Other groups catering to such matters already exist, and we feel that duplication would not serve this group's goals optimally.
**Please note** Licensed radio amateurs as well as SWL's are eligible for membership. Applicants are requested to state their name and callsign (or SWL status); this will speed up the approval process. Membership requests which do not include this information are subject to rejection. Non-members cannot post or view messages.
It is anticipated that all discussions in this group will be conducted civilly and professionally.?This group is a moderated list, and all posts are subject to the moderators' discretion. The moderators' decision in this matter is final.?Joining this group indicates acceptance of these terms.
