VX-8R Xmit Band A opens squelch on Band B
开云体育I have acquired a used VX-8R, it was heavily used for APRS.? I have not done a factory reset (yet).? I have cleared all the APRS settings I can find, including the use of the RT Systems VX8 Programmer, I have also cleared all the memories and programmed new ones for my local area.? When I transmit on Band A, immediately after I let up the PTT key, I get what amounts to a squelch tail on Band B.? Have I missed an obvious setting ?? ? I’m not new to the VX series HT’s, I used to own a VX-7R a few years ago and was my GoTo Handheld for quite some time. ? Thanks for any input, ? 73 Brad, K8ZM |
开云体育Thanks Tad, ? I wanted to review all the settings and then re-program it as well as do some testing to insure its working “as it should” before I did a full factory re-set.?
