I use mine as a dual band base station. ?I really like it. I have used it to transmit APRS using direwolf and Pinpoint software.. ?Enjoy

Just a couple of things to check. (1) Power Supply - per manual 13.8 VDC @ 15 A is required. ?If insufficient current available transmit will fail. ?You can try setting it down to 5W power
