USB Driver

Dave Tucker Nu4N #18444 I purchased a usb cable from someone at a hamfest. Well it worked great. The problem is the CD driver broke into and the CD Rom wont read the disc. It says its a Prolific USB cable under hardware control. Any one having a idea what driver I need please let me know. I have 3 computers, XP,Windows 7 and WAindows 10. Thanks in advance 73 Dave NU4N

Sometimes Windows will want to load the latest version driver, and it won’t work. If it does update, toll back to 3.2.0.0 and it will work again. Always use the same physical USB port every time. Usually once you plug in a cable, windows will try to automatically load the latest driver. Still use 3.2.0.0.?
