Memory scan
I’ve done something wrong. When I’m in memory mode, I previously could push either MHZ up or MHZ down for one second, and my 15 channels would begin scanning. But now, it scans only two channels

Re: Battery Pack Gaskets
Thanks for the responses.? I did check with Batteries America and they don't have them.? The gaskets dry out and crack, an moisture gets inside the radio in rainy conditions and the display fogs

http://www.yaesu.com/jp/amateur_index/product/ft60/spec.html
Google translate says:
It seems the radio is called just FT-60 (without R, E or T) in Japan.
And the user manual

Re: FT-60 spec
Yes, I have never heard of a Yaesu FT-60T too, until I found the Japanese datasheet with those specs as same as I got it confirmed from one of the Japanese re-sellers in Tokio.

Thanks, Petr,

Re: FT-60 spec
Hi,
The difference would be the frequency allocations.
Japanese designated models can sometimes be less power due to their
different licences, however I think that's unlikely with a handheld.

Re: VFO Not Retaining Memories
VFO’s don’t remember anything. That is why you must save to memory. 88.5 is the slowest tone on the radio so it is the default tone.

William - double those packs' longevity: purchase a Smiley 270 or Diamond SRH-320a
