My original pack also had 1 bad cell in it.? Maybe 2.? I took them all out and disposed of the bad cells.? Of the remaining cells, I pulled the tabs off the (-) terminals, folded the tab

Mike,
I used don't have an access to spot welder so had to carefully solder the cells together with a piece of wire. I kept all the internals like the fuse and diodes for sensing the cell temperature
