I would say you need a new battery.? They are not very costly.? You could try this link:?
They are around $35 - Can't think of anything else it would be.7.2V (after charging) is a low battery and this voltage I believe means it needs to be replaced.? Not enough power to transmit.? :)? I would purchase the OEM Yaesu Battery.? Really worth it.
